“It has worked great for me. However, the product recommends upgrading to 20 Amp wires if you are using it for heavier duty cycles... Why not just ship it that way? You guys are literally saving pennies by going with 12 amp wires instead of 20 amp. Just my thoughts.”

“Connecting wires need to be larger if 12 amp load is not intermittent. Had a linear actuator that would not turn off (I didn't notice, as it was pretty quiet; it just kept clicking). The connecting wires got hot enough to cook off the insulation. The remotes work very well.”

“It is a super easy device to use, but the wiring is sub standard. The unit is rated at 20A, but the wires are too light to handle anywhere near that load. I had two actuators, rated at 6A with a 75% load on them the insulation on the wires melted. Upgrading to a heavier gauge wire was difficult because of space restrictions in the box. The leads to and from it should be at least 14 AWG.”
