“After buying a replacement lamp from another business that was advertised as an original Sony lamp but later was revealed as a generic brand this is a true Sony Phillips replacement that came with the projector. The generic lamp was not nearly as bright as the original therefore making a big difference in picture quality. Beware of businesses that advertise as OEM original Sony replacement especially if the price seems to good to be true.”
