“Ever since I became sexually active, I've struggled with premature ejaculation. Mine is the physical kind––mental stimulation has never made me ejaculate early, but it only takes a little physical stimulation to get me over the edge, even if things haven't gotten super hot-n-heavy yet (I'm convinced I have some over-sensitive nerve issue or something on my glans or shaft.) I've tried so many different approaches, from doing PT to better my posture/relax my PC muscles, to PC muscle massaging, breathing exercises, edging sessions...the list goes on. Nothing had a substantial long-term impact. And I always convinced myself using spray like Promescent would be awkward for the lady. Eventually, I caved and initially bought delay spray––KY duration (and luckily later, Promescent) because I was desperate, just tired of 8+ years of non-satisfying intercourse where I felt like a quarter of a man and always relied on having to please her with oral at the end of the day. And having my partners tell me that they're "okay" and "happy" with being pleased that way, but leaving me always wondering if they wished for more. Promescent genuinely changed the game for me. Since I started using Promescent I've been more sexually satisfied than I have been since I lost my virginity. When I get the dose right (which is often, but I'm still new to this and under-dose sometimes) I can last so much longer, and frankly, we can fuck like we've never fucked before. And she absolutely loves it, eventually admitting that she’s really into it and it’s better than just me giving her head. I went from lasting a few thrusts to now being able to last several long bursts of hard fucking (naturally punctuated by some fun oral and just making out) and can finally feel like I’m there for every minute of the ride, together with her, instead of me constantly trying to ward off ejaculation and being in my own head about it. In a paradoxical way my sex drive has actually LOWERED, though I’d argue it’s more of a “balancing” because since using Promescent, I’ve felt I’ve finally been able to experience sex first-hand instead of being an observer wondering and worrying if I was good enough. Before using it, I constantly felt every time we had sex was an “at bat” to show her I’m capable of pleasing her like she wants, and I was always striking out. But now that I can hold my own, and she’s obviously much more satisfied, I just feel complete in that I can finally show her how I’ve wanted to love her for so long, and as a result, I have fewer moments where I feel like I want to have sex to “prove something” and more-so now it’s just a matter if I’m in the mood or not. And that has resulted, in what I’d argue, is a more balanced and genuine sex drive. Promescent is better than other sprays because of its decision to use “aqueous lidocaine” instead of solid lidocaine (which all other sprays rely on). I believe it’s why people choose Promescent over the others. This means that the solution that comes out of a Promescent bottle is entirely absorbable by the skin, which I’ve noticed first-hand results in it absorbing much faster than any other spray. You still have to wipe some residual after the 10m “soak-in” period if you want to avoid numbing your partner during oral, but if you’re just playing hip-to-hip then you can actually get away without wiping it off, although I’d still recommend it. However, with KY and other sprays, you definitely have to worry more about how much actually is soaking in and wiping off before penetration. And not to mention…Promescent, although it smells slightly “chemical-y”, is much more pleasant smelling than KY, which straight-up smells like chemicals. My only criticism is how the spray comes out of a Promescent bottle. It comes out in a very narrow, focused stream, almost like those adjustable spray bottles where you have the stream as narrow as a laser (as opposed to a broad spray). That’s the only thing I liked about KY––it sprayed a mist, so it makes sense when applying to a broad area like the bottom of the shaft and the glans. With Promescent the stream is so narrow that I have to make sure it doesn’t deflect off or that I miss completely, and I often use my hand as a guard around my penis when applying it to catch any that misses so I can just apply it like I would a cream or something (it’s definitely a liquid, and not a cream, in case you’re wondering). Overall this thing has changed my sex life, and honestly my demeanor in general. I can stand that much taller, and I’m more confident around my partner because I know I can bring her that much more joy and confidence when we play. Would recommend this to anyone who suffers from PE.”
