In celebration of my daughter's PhD completion we traveled with Quasar on the Grace. We cannot speak highly enough of our guides Cornelia and Monica who were bursting with enthusiasm to share their deep knowledge of the island wildlife, geology, and history. They found the best places for wildlife viewing and adapted our time to make sure we could all see everything. We did everything that was offered and it was a full week of adventure and discovery , (though you could certainly skip something if you wanted to). The guides gave excellent lectures on the smart screen whiteboard in the common room at our request. Something extra we truly appreciated. The Grace yacht was small enough to get to know all of our very compatible mates and we truly enjoyed our mealtimes with our new friends. The food was gourmet, varied and plentiful with wonderful local dishes and fresh produce and seafood as well as fine bakery from the pastry chef. The high quality full wetsuits were wonderful for the cold waters and the snorkeling was outstanding at multiple sites over our 8 days. There were kayaks for all of us. We were in a cabin on C deck and had enough room for two of us, for a yacht, good a/c, and plentiful hot water. We love that we had no keys to keep track of and the staff from the Captain, cruise director, bartender and room stewards were constantly and efficiently working. Everything was clean, on schedule and super organized. The boat traveled at night several times, but we slept well, just heard noises from the anchor which was next to our cabin. To my knowledge no one was seasick! We were off the grid, so to speak, and we skipped the internet for our busy week away, a wonderful trip of a lifetime.

Every part of our trip was beyond our expectations. The Captain, Cruise Director, our 2 Guides and the entire crew were amazing, helpful, always professional, and became our friends. The food and service were of the highest quality. The drinks and bartender service were outstanding. The cabins were beautiful and always keep perfectly clean. All of our island trips and snorkeling trips were fantastic adventures. Thank you all for giving us such an extraordinary experience. Jeffery Hayward-Hughes

The Grace has just been refurbished and is truly beautiful. The cabin I was in (A4), is spacious with lots of storage room. It is a classic boat with a small number of passengers. This means that all passengers are looked after so well and their individual needs are met. I have coeliac disease. This was always catered for and I was never made to feel like I was annoying to the kitchen staff. The naturalists (Monica and Cornelia) were incredibly knowledgeable about the Galapagos. They were always happy to answer any questions. In addition, they were so flexible and more importantly responsible. The F&B (and hotel) staff led by Ariana were amazing. Ariana is an absolute gem who was only too happy to do anything for me. Ariana and her team quickly remembered our names and our preferences. The Grace is not a cheap trip but it is definitely an amazing one. I would recommend it to anyone.
