Our chef was FABULOUS! As was our bartender (very patient with our group).

Perhaps the best way to review the Grace is to note that we had booked for the following year before we disembarked. We'll be doing the other route. I was concerned about 8 days on a boat but found everything to work beautifully. The cabin was comfortable and intelligently set out. The food was very good. The staff uniformly excellent. And the naturalists--Monica and Cornelia--truly made the trip. In every respect, this was a dream trip and one we look forward to repeating.

The M/Y Grace is a stunning boat that was operated by an exceptional team. Every crew member was instrumental in making this experience special; the chefs made inspired and delicious food for every meal, the guides were always willing and excited to share their knowledge of the islands, the captain and panga operators always took such care with us in all weather conditions, the housekeeper would surprise us with daily towel sculptures and chocolates as well as kept the whole boat in sparkling condition, and our wonderful cruise director made sure every other want or need of ours was met. Experiencing the Galapagos on the M/Y Grace was an experience beyond words. Quasar treated us like a family, and I cannot recommend this trip and this company enough after such an incredible experience.

The crew on the Grace were excellent. Always available and always willing to lend a hand. The captain, Jorge, Leo, and Paula were especially excellent. Our cabins were clean and prepared for us to perfection. The naturalists, Hernán and Len, were the highlight of the trip. They were knowledgeable and very personable. Finally, the food was excellent. Kudos to Alejandro. The only problem at all was the poor internet service. These days, one needs to stay in touch with family members back in the USA.

We spent a wonderful two weeks aboard the M/V Grace in the Galapagos Islands. The crew was exceptionally friendly and accomodating to our requests, and the two naturalists gave us many insights into the flora and fauna of the islands. Being on a historic boat gave the trip a special sense of style, even though the yacht was extensively renovated in 2008-10 The food was imaginative, tasty, and beautifully plated. Snacks were available throughout the day, and coffee was available early in the morning. There were at least two excursions each day, sometimes more, on both land and sea. If you want to see penguins, the western islands are better. If you want to see albatrosses, only one island on the eastern side has these birds.

Hello Neil, Thank you for your great feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you had a great time aboard the Grace. We want to include one minor comment in reply to your comment about penguins, and that is that guests have equal opportunities to see Galapagos Penguin colonies on all our itineraries. Visitor sites like Chinese Hat and Bartolome (found in the center of the archipelago) offer excellent interaction with Penguin colonies, including opportunities to swim with them. These islands are part of the itineraries that do not visit the Western Islands. Your comment about albatrosses is correct, though. These birds are only found on Española Island. Thanks again for your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back on our adventures one day soon. ~ The Quasar Customer Service Team
