Everything was perfect, from the wakeup call in the morning to brandy on the aft deck before bedtime. One of our group actually recorded the voice of the young woman doing the wakeup call so he could play it at home.

Ariana, our Cruise Director is perfect for her job. Speaks English well, always smiling and very well organized. Renan, same qualities and always addressed us by our name. Israel our Capt. was more than accommodating to show us his workspace. We loved Alex’s animal towel folding abilities and he did a great job cleaning up our room. Our naturalists, Roberto and Walter worked well together and you knew they loved their jobs. Walter is hilarious. Alejandro is a superb chef and my wife & I were not expecting that quality type of meals. The rest of the staff were excellent and we felt genuine concern for our safety and quality experience.

I had no issues with the small size of the M/V Grace and its rocking in the ocean. It was very gentle. The quantity of food was excessive albeit very well presented, varied and tasty.. I lighter lunch would have been more in line with the busy activity schedule. Too many of the landings were after breakfast when the lighting was more harsh and hotter.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to send us your comments and feedback. At 145 feet / 44 meters, the Grace is good-sized yacht and was originally built for the North Sea by legendary ship builders, Camper & Nicholson’s. Here 16 Guest compliment and Golden Age of Travel styling is ideal for the Galapagos, where the key is to have peak, up close animal encounters and not overwhelm the delicate landing site habitats with a cruise ship full of travelers. Not only did Quasar completely rebuild Grace’s steel hull using the original plans, but we also recently installed new engines and stabilizers for a smooth and efficient cruising experience. Replying to your comment about the meals onboard, Quasar necessarily has to cater to an array of requirements and preferences including those who eat more such as young adults. Finally, many of Quasar's staff are also photographers and we agree with you that the long light after dawn and right before dusk is ideal for photos. However, the time of the day we go ashore and for how long is all determined by the Galapagos National Park and we must adhere to their permitting. Thank you again for your comments and we appreciate you choosing Quasar for your adventure to the Galapagos. Sincerely, ~ The Quasar Customer Service Team

We had an amazing 2 weeks aboard the M/Y Grace in April 2021. We were so well cared for by the staff....and thoroughly spoiled! We did 3-4 activities each day, snorkeling at least once (in a real life aquarium), sea kayaking, hiking and Zodiac rides..... By the time we returned back to the ship after a full day, getting briefed on the next day's activities and eating an amazing dinner in the outdoor covered dining area, we were all ready to get some rest before the next day's active agenda. The ship is beautiful, and it's history makes it very special. There were special moments, including when our Captain turned the ship around so we could pick up a large pod of dolphins again to ride the waves at the bow of the ship.

Our trip on the Grace was nothing short of magical. The crew and guides were beyond fabulous. I will honestly treasure my experience on the Grace, in the Galapagos, and with the crew for the rest of my life.
