“So I recently purchased the Mono 2 road shoe, and have found them to fit on the wide side which although not a deal breaker as it gave me plenty of room to fit my favourite insole I did need to still racket down the BOA's a fair amount, so if you also have narrow feet its something to keep in mind. I would have scored these shoes higher, if they'd been fitted with the better BOA dials that allow to slacken off the tension without undoing them completely which for price (£270) I'd expect.”
“A very efficient ordering process, the shoes arrived within 2 days of ordering. The style and quality of the shoe is excellent, unfortunately I find the shoe very uncomfortable.
Having followed the sizing instructions and sizing up, the shoes are too tight width wise but plenty of room at the toes/length, this causes me discomfort and numbness to the feet whilst riding, I have tried a thinner insole which marginally helped with the comfort. I find myself having to loosen off the dials to ease comfort, which is not ideal for a performance shoe.
I do have wider fitting feet, but there is plenty of room length wise and sizing up would probably be too large.
This is a real shame, as I love the style and quality of the shoe, I’ve unfortunately wasted over £200 on a pair of shoes. It’s difficult to know this until you start riding with the shoes,
they felt ok before attaching the cleats.
It would be good if a wider fit was available.”
