“These are my second pair of Quoc shoes and my first pair of road shoes. They’re amazingly comfortable probably even more so than the Gran Tourer XC I also got.”
“Shoes look great and overall fit well and to spec. The dials take some getting used to if you’re accostomed to BOA dials, but they work fine with no problems. I do wish the heel had some “cat-tongue” gripping to keep the heel more secure in the pocket. I have worn them ~5 rides and already have a chip/crack in the sole which is pretty disappointing. I’m using Wahoo pedals”
“This is an early review of the shoes as I won't get to use them in anger until the summer months. I normally wear a Specialized 44 shoe, but following the size guide on the website chose a size 45 in the Mono II. I have reasonably narrow feet so was a little concerned they would be too big, but the sizing feels spot on so my advice is to follow Quoc's size guide and measure feet and read the chart. They look and feel nice quality, the soles feel bathtub stiff similar to Bont soles and an insole that is one of the best I've seen that comes shipped as standard with a cycling shoe. I normally swap in some Superfeet insoles but am going to try these first. The insole arch support is also adjustable. Dials, although not Boa's, feel similar in operation. It would have been nice to have a micro-adjust in both directions instead of just micro-tighten or full release, but this is a very minor criticism. I'm reassured that the dials have a lifetime replacement warranty, the same as Boa. Finally, I like the sand colour with the pink accent, something a little different.”
