“One of the towers I purchased had a broken mechanism and I called Yakima to have a replacement shipped. The issue was the top bolt wasn’t clamping on the top ring so it was loose causing the bar to move laterally with very little force. Also, the “foot” of one of the towers was placed on backwards as received which caused some grief in installation until I realized what the issue was and then it was a very simple fix.”

“Very easy to install and dead silent. I originally bought the OEM roof racks from the dealership. They made noise at 40kph. So they went back and bought these. More money but worth it.”
