“I'm a big fan! The rear wheel's latch (which you hand tighten instead of cranking it down like on a Thule rack) and the shorter cable lock are the only differences I can find with much more expensive options. I've had to tighten it to my hitch a few times, as it gets wobbly over time, so not sure if that's the engineering or my hitch's problem.”

“This was a great rack for my 55lb e-bikes, and I wish I still had it. Unfortunately, I had to sell it as the hitch on my Tesla Model 3 was too low to drive on and off the ferries that I use regularly. Ended up buying a Saris Superclamp as it has a higher platform. It’s not nearly as sturdy as the RockyMounts, though.”

“Easy to mount bikes on and off the rack. It is very easy to tilt the rack for access to the hatchback. I can put a variety of bikes on it from road to fat tire cruisers. The cable lock is easy to use. The rack has a lock that prevents someone from stealing it.”

“Amazing bike rack for it's price point. Compared to other brands, the RockyMounts rack comes with a few extra supporting accessories like fat bike straps and locks that you often have to purchase separately with other brands. The lever to tilt the rack for storage or access to the hatch is well thought out and in an accessible place. Overall the rack is very easy to use and well thought out!”
