“Solid piece of equipment, it does a great job to reach inside a ski box on the roof of an SUV, but it only works on the front door hooks for my car (Honda CR-V), i.e. the hooks on the car frame at the passenger doors level are angled in a fashion that the door step cannot be leveled and would be unsafe to use. Still worth the investment if you are using a ski box on a vehicle with a high roof.”

“One of the best "little things" I have. It makes loading the Thule box much easier than a step stool or small ladder. Highly recommended for loading stuff on top of a vehicle.”

“The Moki is a clever device. It looks cool, and functional before you even put it on your car. However, after I put it on my Lexus GX450, I found it to be troublesome. The platform was insubstantial for large feet. The design, of a single hook, made it unstable: it was capable of rocking back and forth. Also, there lacked a secondary catch - something to stop the device from the potential of rocking and detaching. All in all, I would say this device was disappointing. It’s so cool looking I was sure it would function effectively , but unfortunately it didn’t live up to my expectations.”

“When you are my height there is one problem with roof racks. They are too high. I can only reach so far. The Moki doorstep allows me to each more than just the outer part of the rack. It’s simple, sturdy and reasonably priced.”

“Luv, luv, triple luv this handy step. I have been using it and causing a stir wherever I go. People watch me load and unload my kayaks with my handy little step and ask about it, taking pictures of it so they can purchase one themselves. One guy asked to use it himself to load his kayaks after watching me and he too is sold on it. Heck I should be getting a commission from Moki for all the times I have demoed it and referred others to their product.”
