“This is an incredibly solid rack! I compared this to the Thule XT Pro for the same price and couldn’t believe how much cheap plastic was on the Thule. The Kuat is bulletproof, I’d be surprised if anything ever happens to this. It holds my bikes very stiff and the build in locks work great. I’m able to open my rear hatch even with the rack in the upright position. Putting it together did take 2 people which was no problem at all. I love the bonus feature of having the trail bike repair stand. Haven’t used it yet, but I’m sure it will come on handy. As a bonus, after I registered my rack with Kuat, they sent me a $20 gift card and free shipping for their online store. I bought a hat and shirt and it ended up totaling $15! Can’t go wrong with that.”
