“So it has been about 2 months since we installed the skytrack with the net return pro series and the country club pro mat. Set up was a very simple process and performance is great. Starting with the country club Pro mat, we bought the 4x8 version and it is very receptive and provides a good amount of feedback, but is not hard on the joints if you hit one fat. Feel is excellent and when shots are struck well it is a very similar feel to a well kept fairway. Only takeaway is if it is not mounted with some tacky underlayment, the mat will slide a bit over time. With harder ball strikers it will move several inches over a fairly short period. Just use some rubber matting or similar to remedy.
The Skytrack unit was a breeze to set up and is quite reliable. It may read a bit conservative distance (about 3-5 yards), but overall shots are refelective of the feedback recieved when ball is hit. For example a shot you know is clearly blocked does indeed block in the sim. The ability to boost some of the distance is helpful to reflect different real life conditions that may be encountered. Spin, ball speed and clubhead speed are quite accurate and do the job very well. The overall effectiveness of the package and setup are quite good. I find that simple tweaks to the swing to support quality shots on the sim translate quite well to the course. My 15 year old son who is a +3 HC has been able to use the sim and setup to increase his distance and analyze key parameters with ball striking that have directly transferred to the course quite well. He really likes working on technical aspects of his swing and knowing what those results look like in technical feedback. Overall, this is the best golf tool we have purchased and the package mentioned is a great value for the avid golfer….Super Happy!”

I purchased this package based on budget and maneuverability. I needed the garage space when not hitting balls. Ordering was simple and delivery was quicker than expected. I have had the system for about a month and am very pleased with the SkyTrak capabilities, specifically the game improvement and challenge options. The Pro series net was simple to assemble and so far, is showing no wear in the concentrated target area. I did add some matting under the turf, but this was to level the garage floor and provide a little more leg/feet cushion. No more winter couch potato!”

If you are still having these issues, we do suggest, placing the ball slightly behind the laser. If you are hitting off of a tee you will want the laser to be at the top of the tee.
