“I gave this coffee maker as a gift when my daughter remarked how delicious my coffee is. I had one sent to her. It only takes 4 minutes to make amazing pour over coffee (hands-free). It’s the second one I have gifted.”
“Upon return from vacation my neighbor left the box at my door. The packing materials were solid and fully protected the Ratio Four
Easy instructions and a handy guide to grind recommendations for grind settings got me started quickly. The coffee is amazing and the process easy.
One suggestion: The machine arrived with NO coffee filters. Delayed gratification when it comes to coffee is not my string point! Include at least a handful, please!”
“This machine makes excellent small pots of coffee, which was as-advertised and is worth the cost especially for the refurbished model. However I see two functional ‘misses’ - one large and one minor. The major miss is that due to the simple functionality of the single ‘start’ button, my wife and I find that when removing the basket the button is almost always bumped which causes a new pot to start brewing. Secondly, the drips at the end of the brew cycle can last for several minutes which makes removing the pitcher a delayed process.”
“This machine is perfect for our 2 coffee drinker household. The on button is a little sensitive, but that's a minor gripe. The quality of coffee that this thing brews is insane!
We use this daily.”
“I was looking to save time by switching from an AeroPress and manual pour-overs to an automatic maker. I read a lot of reviews and looked at a lot of specifications before I decided on the Ratio Four. It fits on my countertop under my upper cabinets, AND I don't need to pull it out to refill the water tank or insert the basket (more time saved); it brews only what I drink daily (perfect for one coffee lover); it can use a variety of filters (I used cone filters with my Melitta drip cone for the first few brews, before I could get to the store to buy basket filters); it very simply makes good coffee. I opted for the "refurbished" to get it faster and it seems fine- saved me $50. As others have pointed out, the "brew" button is very easy to tap by mistake (but is not a big deal- it'll cancel itself if the water tank is empty). It's also a bit noisy. I was a little skeptical since similarly-priced machines have more bells and whistles, but i've enjoyed not having to decide how many cups, strength of brew, reset a clock, etc. Just the one button and I have good coffee ready by the time I'm done feeding the cats.”
