“We love our Original Ratio 8 Coffee Machine. We own two of them for a just in case!! Our machine can run up to twice a day, 6 days a week; and still brews the coffee like the day we received it. We use both the glass carafe and the thermal.. The thermal keeps our coffee hot for an extended period of time……and we appreciate that. (Disappointed to learn that the newer model of the Original Ratio 8 will not be manufactured in the U.S.)”

“So far we are very happy with The Ratio Eight. One thing that bothers a bit is the pouring of the coffee when the rubber lid is on. Since there is no escape hole for the air, it is an awkward, slow pour. Nor sure if there is a fix, since the desire is to keep the coffee as warm as long as possible.”

“What a gorgeous machine. We were blown away by the quality of every aspect of the R8. We sprung for the Thermal Carafe and I'm glad we did as it helps keep the coffee hot for that second cup and we love that you can bring it with you wherever you are enjoying your coffee. It will cool down after not too long so might try playing around with filling with hot water first. We also bought the reusable filter and so far so good. The coffee tastes like a great pour over you get at the cafe--smooth with no bitterness.”
