“This is a beautiful machine that makes a delicious cup of coffee. Very happy to not be brewing in plastic chemicals every day, now. Glad I bought refurbished and saved a few bucks, as there is nothing that would indicate this unit was not new.
My only gripe is the tendency to overflow the filter if you use ground store-bought coffee and the recommended amount for a full pot brew. It creates a huge mess. For coffee snobs, you can just make a coarser grind with your whole beans. For those of us interested in the Ratio as a handsome plastic-free brewer, using 1 scoop of ground coffee per cup works and still tastes plenty strong to me.”
