While this Kone is beautiful and a great alternative to using paper filters, we brewed a full pot of coffee with this and unfortunately it overflowed entirely halfway through the brew. I would not say you can use this to brew a full pot of coffee. However, we may use it for a half pot. Haven't tried that yet but hoping it doesn't overflow then.

Filters well; however, I decided that I would rather go the paper filter route. Ended up using the Kone in conjunction with the Chemex paper filter as the Chemex filters seem to get waterlogged and the Kone provides just enough of an air gap to prevent this from happening.

This black one matches my Stealth Thermal R-8. It's more hard to see the grinds in it before the sun comes up at after 7am now. So burn some electrons and I'm able to swirl them level. These are radically better compared to a screen, and last a long time. Save The Trees! Use a Kone filter.

Works well on the Ratio 8. I also am using a second one I bought to make iced tea from ground black tea. Does not over flow and looks well constructed.

Got this a few years ago, and it was horrible. Coffee always overflowed even when ground coarsely. Recently, they claimed this was redesigned. I see no difference whatsoever. The product still sucks.
