Ppl who are suffering with herniated disc, and dr suggested to get a surgery, they have to try this device before going into surgery. I have a L5S2 herniated disc. I wasn’t even able to walk the first week. I can walk now and started my daily routine gradually. Key to recover from this injury: ice, heat, traction, short walks, low back exercises (talk to your physical therapist first), rest, keep pressure off the disc through out the day as much as possible. Results can be seen After 4 weeks and I would say 6 weeks total if your work allows you to work from home. Good luck!
