“This bag has been really well designed and made. 22l is a great size and I will use this both on my SUP and sea kayak. I have tested the waterproofing and not a drop makes it way in, even after forced immersion. I will have confidence keeping a Canon 5D mk4 and 300mm f2.8 lens in it while sea kayaking (at my risk!!). I noticed that the 4 clips that are used to attach it to the SUP D rings were very stiff and almost impossible to open in cold conditions (I SUP year round in Scotland). I discovered the only way to open them was to push the plastic gate of the clip sideways out of the main body of the clip. I emailed Red explaining my difficulty. They took it very seriously and sent me four replacement clips with a less stiff gate. They also addressed the issue on their website with video clips illustrating the above method of opening the clips. In addition, they emailed all recent Deck Bag puurchasers explaining the situation, how to open the stiff clips and offering softer replacements. What great customer service!! 12/10!!”
