“I received the Performance Top Layer for Christmas. I have been looking at it for ages and now I have it I am over the moon. It is a great fit, feels good and, like all Red products, is very well made. It goes brilliantly with my Performance Tee.”

“I've held back from writing a review as although I loved the top as soon as I bought it I wanted to give it a good test drive. I was interested to see how long it would last when used as some of my similar tops wear out quickly. In a word it's great. I've used it for riding the bike and board but more than anything I use it as a general piece of clothing. I've washed it countless times and it's still looking really good, pretty much as it was when I received it. I love: The fit, the stretch and the style I hate: When it's in the wash and I can't wear it. A great top. I love it and people always ask what it is.”

“Like most of us my garage is full of outdoor toys. These days when I shop I am always looking at getting the most use out of my tops, thermal wear and general clothing. After a splurge I took this top for a rip on my mountain bike the other day and was impressed with it's length (no cold spots on the lower back) And the the thumb holes, which are a must for any outdoor top!”

“Cautiously bought for my fussy husband - as a military man he uses a lot of technical clothing & is normally highly suspicious of anything that isn't Arcteryx, but to my amazement he loves this top! Looks great on him too.”

“What do you want to do with this top? paddle, cycle, rugby, hiking.... no worries this does it all! The thumb loops are a massive bonus and the fabric helps keep me warm and cool at the same time which is magic, as if it was made by merlin himself!”
