Classic black and white film that shoots beautifully in a variety of light conditions. I’ve been using it for heavy contrast night photography and this can be pushed well.

Great film at a great price. This is my go-to black and white stock.

Been shooting HP5 on MF and 35mm for years now. It's a great stock and is, amazingly, still relatively affordable compared to Tri-X. The Naked Photographer on YT did a side by side on of HP5+ and Tri-X, and they're virtually indistinguishable when printing in the darkroom. To me, that's the true proof in the pudding. I like HP5 for the price point, but also because it dries flatter than Tri-X. Makes printing in the darkroom easier as well. So it's a win win. Great film.
