Weber® Q® 3200 With Permanent Cart Roasting Bundle
With a fresh look, modern feel and some great feature improvements the Weber® Q® range is back and better than ever! Be it the substantial gas Family Q® 3200 or the handy electric Baby Q® 1400, throughout the collection there is undoubtedly a Q® barbecue to suit the needs of every keen alfresco chef.
With just a few style tweaks for 2014 including a slight repositioning of the thermometer to a more readable position in the tall lid, the robust and mighty Weber® Q® 3200 is king of the Q® range and is perfect for larger family gatherings or catering for small crowds.
The hinged lid, like the body, is made from cast-aluminium and built into a heat resistant glass-reinforced nylon frame with built-in carry handles and similar to the Midi Q® 2000 includes two fold-away work tables as standard to allow you extra work space for food preparation. In addition, the solid lid handle also incorporates Weber’s famous Grill-Out light to aid vision when cooking in low light.
Preferred by many for their ability to retain higher temperatures for longer, the Q® 3200 comes with a pair of 45 x 31.5cm porcelain-enamelled cast iron cooking grates which offer a mammoth 2994cm² cooking area (more than sufficient to cater for up to 12-14 people at a time) which is hugely impressive considering the unobtrusive look of the barbecue itself.
Unlike the rest of the Q® barbecues the Weber® Q® 3200 has two stainless steel burners as opposed to one; the eponymous Q® burner which follows the internal shape of the body as well as a straight burner across the centre thus offering far more flexibility with roasting and baking as well as improved direct and indirect cooking options.
Just because it’s bigger and just because it has two burners doesn’t mean the Q® 3200 is any more difficult to use. Whether you’re working from a refillable gas bottle (unavailable from Riverside Garden Centre, but sold through local Calor Gas dealers) or have the barbecue connected to a caravan using an adaptor kit (8450) - sold separately – the principal is the same; attach the fuel source, rotate one or both of the infinite control burner valves, fire-up by pushing the electronic ignition switch and wait just five minutes for the temperature of the burner(s) to get up, then you’re good to go!
The Weber® Q® 3200 comes with a warming rack as standard, and as you would expect from Weber besides a plethora of handy tools and accessories to help you get the most out of one of their barbecues, the Q® range has been designed with domed lids to allow the cooking of larger roasts or deeper receptacles like vegetable baskets etc. to be used.
Also, for convenience, the frame of the barbecue allows a disposable drip tray (one included) to be easily inserted into position under the body of the grill to catch falling fat and juices.
To make transit easier, the Weber Family Q® 3200 comes with a permanent cart which includes a stylish gas bottle screen and wire shelf at the base to support the gas bottle and also incorporates three handy tool holders located at the front.
As with all Weber® Q® barbecues, the Family Q® 3200 comes with a 5-year limited warranty on the cast aluminium components (excluding paints), burner and cooking grates to give you one less thing to worry about as you cook up a storm for your friends and family.

I have always been a 'coal fan - and still am. Life's circumstances change and my spare time does not now allow for my pyromaniacal tendencies. I have to like the Q, but it irks that I have to use a huge foil pan every time I cook a decent sized piece of meat to stop fat falling on the unprotected gas jets - no flavour bars here.. The cleaning routine suggested is unbelievable. (The cleaning routine on my charcoal BBQ was buy it, use it for 14 years and brush the grate every time I fired up). It used to concern me if smoke wisps appeared 'txixt lid and firebox - sat next to the Q I can watch the world go by thro' the huge gap between lid and frame. Time will tell . . . .
