“Hands down, my new favorite pack.
Bought it in spring prepping for a variety of trips - it has traveled checked and carry-on for plane trips no problem, on multiple cross country train trips, and I even use it camping now. The versatility and ease of use makes it perfect for so many types of adventures. Its durable and the perfect mix of rugged/sleek (It's been to San Francisco for girls trips and to the middle of no where for rock climbing adventures).
It is perfect for "turtle mode" = the perfect travel set up where you place your larger pack (carry on) on your back and your smaller (personal item sized backpack) in the front. The hip straps make this pack easy to trek with across airports and trails hands free. And the ability to fold the straps away makes it secure enough to bring as your checked bag too. I also love the ability to unzip it and feel like it is a real suitcase. I have easy access to my stuff when I need it. And the laptop pouch is padded and fits my 15in Mac (it's a little tight since I have a case on my computer, but it still fits).
As a shorter female, I was worried it would be too big/tall, but I have had no issue. It fits everything I need for 3-7 days, business or camping, and I can carry it no problem. I'm tempted to get another one for my climbing gear set up too.

“I used this backpack to Travel the UK. Awesome and durable bag. Had zero issues fitting them on planes from a CJ090 to as big as A330.
I’m 6ft - 415 lbs, and even the waste strap fits around me. I love the fact it opens all the way, fitting so much luggage. There are minimal storage compartments but that was intentional for me as I use packing cubes.
I got the full khaki color, the khaki and black were on waiting list. That’s the only thing I would change, being the half black and khaki.

“What a fantastic bag. I recently went on a 7 day cruise and was able to fit literally everything I needed for the trip, in this bag, and I was able to have it as my carry on. I also use it on my hunting trips and long day hikes. My favorite thing about this bag is the flexibility of the main compartment, and having the cinch straps on the outside to keep everything nice and fitted, even if it seems like too much is in there.”

“Love this bag so much. The way they designed the zipper to fully wrap around the bag makes it user friendly to get in and out of the bag, especially if your constantly opening it to access clothes or gear. The pocket layout is epic, big deep pockets to store all your accessories and such. Laptop sleeve and hidden passport pocket are clutch. You can pack more than you think and it also seems sturdy and durable against the elements. Highly recommended”
