“Good design and good value for the price - but you get what you pay for, this is made of a cheap wood, maybe rubber wood, and finished in an oak colour. Still looks good, and is very sturdy, but when ours arrived and we opened the box one of the brackets supporting the drawer was completely broken off along the grain as they are made of one piece of wood cut in an L shape along the grain, to fit in the groove in the drawer. We didn't complain as we had a time pressure to have it in use so we just unscrewed that bracket and glued it overnight and screwed it back on, it's fine...but be careful not to overload the drawer, there is no base under it, if the brackets break it will fall to the bottom shelf.”

“Lovely item of furniture and very sturdy. Well packaged, fast free delivery. Only had to attach the legs and insert the drawer. Exactly what I was looking for and looks beautiful in a small alcove by my front door.”
