“This wardrobe is beautiful, spacious, and excellent quality -- it actually holds more than the large double closet we had in our previous home. The photos are slightly deceptive in that the uprights on the upper section aren't as massive as they appear, but we considered that a win -- if they had been, the wardrobe would need to be fully disassembled if we ever needed to move again. Instead the top can simply be detached from the bottom and carried out. We had to hire someone to assemble it for us as it was clear the upper half was much too heavy for us to lift onto the base by ourselves -- you will want two strong men for the job. But the assembly instructions were clear and well laid out (I write instructions for a living, so I know!) and despite its size it took him less than an hour to put together. Anyone reasonably handy should have no problem with it other than the lifting. The wood is nicely finished and a perfect match for the rest of our somewhat older oak and ash bedroom furniture. The mirror is well fixed and doesn't rattle. The doors hang straight and stay closed with magnetic catches. The drawers slide easily and are very spacious. We're really pleased and have now pre-ordered the matching blanket box.”
