“Just bought this chest. Very well made and good to look at. A bit surprised at the roughness to the touch, but perhaps this is just part of the character. Don't know whether polishing is recommended - no instructions were included. However, my only real niggle is the annoying rasping noise when the drawers are opened and closed. Can anything be done about this?”
