“Looks good from the front but this is not very sturdy. I expected the shelves to be solid wood but they are thin board, supported by a frame underneath, the centre section just held together by a staple. Not sure they are actually strong enough to hold books but we will see. The legs are made of 2 different kinds of wood and this is noticeable. Came by courier, who delivered another item and sent this one back to the depot as they couldn't find it on the van. They announced they were coming back several days later at a time when I wouldn't be in. Next time I will order from a company with their own delivery vehicles - that way delivery is by mutual agreement with the customer. Wouldn't have bought this if I was able to see it beforehand but the item was extremely well packaged and I wouldn't be able to get it back into the packaging for return, so I will keep it, but not happy.”

“The Alba Oak slim bookcase is well made, reasonably priced and just slots into our alcove lovely. It has a scandi feel to it's design which goes well with our existing furniture.”
