“The Pedal Commander works as advertised. I understood the device simply multiplies the voltage from the foot throttle position sensor and it does that really well. I was hoping the Pedal Commander would eliminate the OEM low rpm throttle lag to improve shifting. I had manual transmissions for over 50 years and this vehicle is the most difficult to match road speed to engine speed. Perhaps the gear ratio steps are not uniform?
Pedal Commander works best for me at really slow speeds... first gear in low range using the eco mode. It REDUCES the throttle response and avoids "lurching".”
