“The hinge set we got was adequate for our purpose. The quality isn't great. The galvanising process on the upper post mount was so heavy it took us a lot of patience and time to remove the attached nut, because the threads were so gummed up. Also one of the three bolts supplied to fit the top mount to the gate had a problem. The thread inside the nut stripped before it had barely been tightened. Fortunately it was the end closest to the gate upright so we used a bit of loctite to secure it. There were no instructions provided, nor any guidance on the Ruby web site. We enquired about what size drill bits would be needed before hand, but no-one from the Ruby technical department got back to us. Thank you YouTube for providing at least some guidance.”
