“I bought 10 bags and have used 9 of these. They worked well (I used them with the 2.4m 100mm sq posts, digging down to 60cm), but 3 of the bags used so far had substantial (at least 10% of the volume) monolithic lumps, where the cement had gone off. The cement was delivered on a damp day, but 1. it was not raining during offload and 2. the bags were carried from the delivery van straight to a dry store in my house, ready for use within less than a week. The concrete had been double-bagged, but there was a fair bit of moisture between the inner and out bags, which made the double-bagging worse than useless.”
