“The gate arrived with slight damage - the bracing strut had come out of the two mortice housings on the curved heel and top bar of the gate. It was only held in with two small nails, one in each mortice. I used a cramp to push the brace bar back in place and fitted two screws in each position, as well as the nails. Now it is hung, it has attracted positive comments from neighbours.”
