“Great organisation with more than enough pockets for your daily work carry. This thing is pretty much overbuilt with not a bad seam or crooked line in sight.
But the quality of the build and materials do contribute to the weight. It's not particularly light when empty and loaded with a laptop, sneakers and spare clothes you do feel it. Good thing the (almost too beefy) hand and shoulder straps make it comfortable to carry. On this note, the shoulder strap is one of the comfiest I've ever used.
My nitpicks:
- overly beefy hand strap cover makes it a chore to button up sometimes. Less material and a magnet might be more convenient.
- opening the zips occassionally gets caught on the corners, this is unfortunately due to the more squared off design and the general material stiffness
I also would have preferred the laptop compartment to unzip into just a single sleeve, rather than a sleeve inside a compartment. This would save material but you lose extra storage which is fine since there's plenty on the admin side.
This is pretty much the only duffel I could find where the laptop is accessible without opening up the main compartment which was my number 1 criteria for a gym/work/carry-on duffle, so all in all, still a great duffle.”
