Aer City Sling 2 X-Pac Reviews

4.7 Rating 7 Reviews
Ended up grabbing this to help while on holiday in Japan. Was perfect size to hold a few essentials, the phone, passport and wallet. The hidden back pocket have extra piece of mind that the passport and wallet would be safe. Was also comfortable when worn on both the back and the front (handy when in super busy areas or needing to access things quickly).

I bought this for my partner to replace her Bellroy Mini Sling she's been using for more than three years. She loves the abundance of internal organisation despite the compactness of the Aer City Sling compared to her old Bellroy sling and the fact that she could place her phone and keys in separate pockets to prevent scratching. Our trip to Mount Buller recently certainly proved the sling's weatherproofing so she's definitely appreciating the X-Pac material. So this is a 100% recommend!

My first run with this bag was a month-long Europe trip. Daily use, holding a mixture of photography gear, wallet, keys, earphones, battery bank, passport, phone, sanitary items, etc. Wore the bag on the front of my body for security - strap stayed taut, and gear protection was never in doubt. Recommend!

Well made bag and nice magnetic buckle. Not quite right size for my specific purpose, also found it a bit too masculine for a woman. The support I received from John at Rushfaster during the return process was outstanding - very supportive, and quick refund. As a result the returns process was every bit as positive as receiving the order in the first place (another item in the order was exactly what I was looking for).

The Aer City Sling 2 XPAC is pretty much the perfect EDC for me. It is low profile, while carrying all the basic stuff I need for a day out, or to work, and with a few modifications, it can carry even more. This is my first sling with XPAC and I was comparing this against the Bellroy Mini - I must say, the XPAC material is not only weather proof, but it just sheds dirt. The Bellroy has already gathered quite a bit of dust and dirt on the surface, but the XPAC sling looks brand new even after months of use. The only complaint I would have is the Fidlock magnetic fastener. Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome fastener, and I actually find myself fiddling with it when I have hands free (is that why it's called the Fidlock?). However, in the day-to-day use, when I'm swinging the sling from the back to the front and vice versa, if I'm not careful, I can really scratch the heck out of my neck/shoulders due to the sharp edges on the fastener. For expandability, I have added Hero Clips to the side straps, so I can clip on say an umbrella during rainy days. I also pack a small Shupatto tote in the sling, which I can break out for impromptu shopping - and which I also clip to the Hero Clip when I need both hands free.
