SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. During sleep, the SAMi camera's proprietary technology monitors for unusual or abnormal movement in the field of view. When abnormal movement is detected, an alarm sounds on the Apple device running the SAMi iOS app (iPhone / iPod / iPad / Mac) and displays a live video / audio feed. Within seconds, the individual or caregiver can take any necessary action. SAMi will not only reliably alert you to abnormal movement, but automatically records high quality video and audio of the event, providing invaluable video evidence for Neurologists, Epileptologists, and other Healthcare providers to accurately diagnose and prescribe effective treatment plans. “The Sami monitor has given us piece of mind. It alerts us when our daughter moves even the slightest amount. You can adjust the settings to your liking but it does take time to perfect what works for your family. The only thing we aren't crazy about is that it constantly disconnects. We're having to restart the network settings multiple times a day, and often it's over night which is nerve wracking.”

“SAMi has given me peace of mind when our daughter sleeps. She only has seizures from sleep/waking, that are virtually noiseless, so to have something alert to extended movement has been great. It’s easy to hook up and easy to adjust settings too.”

“This camera was donated to us. It did not pick up the type of seizures my son has. He is always moving! But it definitely would work for someone else! I think they need to update the iPods and have another option.”
