SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. During sleep, the SAMi camera's proprietary technology monitors for unusual or abnormal movement in the field of view. When abnormal movement is detected, an alarm sounds on the Apple device running the SAMi iOS app (iPhone / iPod / iPad / Mac) and displays a live video / audio feed. “Our son has refractory epilepsy. Most of his seizures are at night. We slept in his room every night until we got the Sami. It gave us peace of mind knowing we will be alerted by the Sami. We love that we can review footage to see if we missed a seizure. It has also been a great to be able to show our epileptologist what our sons seizures look like.”

“I absolutely love this camera! It records and has helped my daughter’s neurologist with much needed information with her seizures. “Purchasing the SAMI gave our family peace of mind and back to nights getting sleep. We tried a baby monitor but still had to stay alert during sleep for activity in my daughter's room. SAMI recordings were very useful in showing my daughter's medical team when she had a seizure during sleep.”
