“First of all, it's not a towel. At least in the terry cloth idea of a towel. In the most desperate of times it could be a blanket. All that being said, I bought this with the intention of using it as a wall hanging and I love it. One question: why does it smell so good?! I usually always wash my brand new items before I use them because of the chemical smell most things have. This thing smelled so freaking good, I couldn't believe it!! I kept walking in my room and smelling it and was pleasantly surprised. Very happy with it.”

“The towel is beautiful and I really like it! So happy that some of the cost is helps save marine life. My only negative about the towel is that I am very sensitive to smells and the towel had an extremely strong smell when it arrived. I had to wash it twice to get rid of the smell and the second time was with an odor deodorizer. Love the towel but can't do smells. I would be extremely mindful of what I washed it with until the smell is gone and if I ordered another towel I would know to wash it at least twice.”
