“If this item had been advertised as a light weight throw blanket, I'd give it 5 stars. It's soft and comfortable. However, if you want to use it as a towel to actually dry off, it's woefully inadequate. Soaks up maybe half the water on your skin at most, and just smears the rest around. Had to grab another towel to dry off. No wonder they say it dries so quickly, it doesn't soak up much water. Haven't tried it at the beach yet. I'm sure as a towel to lie on it will work well. 1 star as a towel, 5 as a blanket = 3 overall.”
