“Update: After my initial review, the team at sand cloud reached out to me and offered some resolutions to help improve the absorbency of the towel. I soak the towel overnight and some cool water and then let it dry on the hang. This apparently helps the natural fibers perk up a bit. And while the towel did improve, it was only marginal. That being said, the customer service representative was apologetic and even offered me a partial refund. So why not a five star review well unfortunately the towel is still not really a towel and not as absorbent as I would expect a conventional towel to be, however, as far as customer service goes, this experience was very delightful and I will likely come back to purchase one of the beach blankets if my wife likes the one that I purchased for her already. Customer service is top-notch kudos.
The weave is nice, the material is great but this is not a towel. It doesn’t dry you after a shower and I wound much prefer a traditional towel after a bath/shower. Not sure what I’ll do with these now.”
