“When I ordered my towel I honestly didn't know what I was getting. I did know that it was something I had been wanting for quite a while. So I took the plunge. I'm pleasantly surprised. This material is much thinner & lighter than I thought. And it actually worked out for me cuz I have yet to use it as a towel... I use it to snuggle up in at night lol. This is more like a blanket for me. Summer is coming so I will use it as a blanket, a towel & a wrap! I can't wait”
“this towel bleeds in the wash, I used free and clear detergent on cold and moved to drier right when done, and it leeched blue dye onto my other towels that I purchased at the same time from the same company. I was going through my very first initial wash so havent even gotten a chance to use it yet. Wasted money since I bought a bundle and bath rowels as well and they were expensive! Now I am nervous to launder this again.”
“Bought 2 of these for our annual trip to Lake Michigan when i was up late at night scrolling through Facebook. In my "I have 3 kids sleep deprived state" I figured that I deserved to treat myself and a $68 beach towel seemed like a logical purchase. Despite having buyers remorse for the 5 days I had to wait for the towels, once I opened the package, there was NO WAY I was going to return them. These are worth every.single.penny. Compact, large enough that I was able to completely cover myself the day the flies were bad on the beach but light weight enough that I wasn't overheating in the 90 degree heat. No sand stuck to it and, despite the high humidity it was completely dry every morning. I absolutely love these towels. My kids and husband tried to steal them and are now requesting that we get rid of all of the terry cloth beach towels that we have and replace them with these. I know what they're each getting for their birthday in 2021!”
“I was skeptical about using these in the Florida panhandle area like Destin, Fort Walton, etc. because that white sugar sand sticks to EVERYTHING and is so stubborn to remove. Sure enough, the sand didn't stick and even when the towel was a little damp, it shook right off - we were so impressed! We used the XL as a towel to sit on and then the regular size as personal towels and my kids LOVED being able to wrap up like a blanket when the weather was a little more windy/cool. The other thing we loved was that our sand cloud towels dried SO quickly compared to our regular beach towels that we had with us (which were a nightmare to dry out once they were damp). By the end of our trip we were wishing we only had sand cloud towels with us b/c they took up so little room in our beach bag whereas our traditional beach towels were large and heavy once they were damp. I'll definitely be getting more sand towels and slowly getting rid of our traditional beach towels in the future! Definitely worth the money!!”
“I washed the XL navy acid wash towel before I used it and the blue bled a lot. I wore it as a scarf on the plane ride to Hawaii and it kept me warm. The towel is a great size for 2 people to comfortably sit on in the sand at the beach. I used it after getting out from the water at the beach and it was great. My friend used it after but she wore coral pink water shorts and when she wrapped the towel around her, the blue stained her shorts. We had to buy shout stain remover to soak her shorts and get the blue out. I washed the towel a couple more times and the blue was still bleeding a lot. If you plan on using the towel at the beach, I recommend wearing dark colors. Definitely wash it before using it and do not wash it with light colored clothes or towels as it will stain.”
