“Update: it took a few weeks and persistence on my part but eventually all was made right by the company and since I really do like the product I am updated my rating to reflect that.
This was part of my first sand cloud order, unfortunately the blanket was missing from the package and the customer service response has been unimpressive to say the least. At this point I don’t know when or if I will receive the blanket I paid for or at minimum a credit back - they responded in a very reasonable 24 hour time period after I contacted them and requested I send pictures. I did and I have not received any communication or follow up since - it has been well over a week. But I’ve still received multiple promotion emails a day and this email solicitation for a review. Not a great first experience, which is unfortunate because I think they have a pretty nice product. I’d be happy to write about the Malibu blanket specifically… if I ever get it.”

“Just got back from Hawaii and Sand Cloud towels were the hero of the trip. It made going from beach to beach so easy.. no sand in our car, we could wipe off our feet, no sand in our hotel.. the BEST. We ordered two more while sitting on the beach so we can have more at home for boating this summer.”

“I bought the Malibu blanket thinking it would be a nice reddish blanket for Christmas time. The quality of the blanket is wonderful, like all other sand cloud items. However, the color of this blanket is more of a burnt orange brown if that’s even a color. It’s not at all pretty and I’m bummed to own it.”
“After washing the blanket separately in cold water. I opened the washer and was shocked to see all of the lint. I took the blanket outside and shook it the best I could. Dried it on low heat, thinking the lint would be removed in the dryer. I must have emptied the lint filter 3-4 times. So much lint. After the blanket was dried it was covered with little fuzz balls. I tried to remove them by hand but it was a never ending task. I’m so disappointed because I really loved this blanket. Wonderful design, so soft and light. However, the fuzz balls are a turn off for me. I would not purchase again.”
“I would like to start by saying how much I love the Sandclould towels. However, the Malibu blanket seems very different. The material is thicker which seemed fine at first. After washing the blanket it was covered in lint. I tried to remove but the end result is that the blanket is covered in lint balls. This makes the blanket unattractive to me. The quality of this item is poor compared to all the other towels I have purchased. For this reason I would not buy this item again. Se”
