“I love my towels! We used them on the boat at the lake right after we got them and they worked great! As soon as we got home I went to wash them and wanted to be sure I followed all the directions. First off, I failed to wash them before the first use…my bad. I couldn’t understand the tag well so looked on the Sand Cloud website. It said to wash on the gentle cycle being careful not to use bleach then line dry or tumble dry on low if needed. I did just that but added fabric softener as I do with all my clothes not thinking about it since it wasn’t mentioned. I had previously texted Sand Cloud about before looking online but didn’t get a response until after my new towels were half way threw their wash cycle. That’s when I was told to NOT use fabric softener! My heart has sunk this morning thinking I have ruined these beautiful towels. I have reached back out to customer service to ask what I need to do at this point if anything and so far no response in the past four hours. In the meantime my towels are wet and starting to dry. I have been reassured they will get back to me and I sit here waiting praying they can be saved as I love them so much! I would recommend these towels to anyone who questioned whether or not to buy them. Don’t let my experience stop you. Just learn from my mistake and you will enjoy yours as much as I have!”
