“Towels were purchased as a Christmas gift. They appear to be excellent quality but one of towels in bundle has large dirty spot on it. I have contacted Customer Service to see about what can be done to remedy this situation but no response yet. I will update this review when I hear from them.”
“I love the texture of these towels and the fact they dry much quicker than normal towels, they also dry you off more effectively than a normal towel. It's nice that I don't have to wash them as often as normal towels as well, that is the main reason I bought them was in hopes of the quick drying making towels last longer in between washings. The things I don't like, however, are the fact they get so much lint and fuzz everywhere even after washing a couple times. I'm also somewhat worried how they will hold up over time, because already there are loose threads after only a few washes.”
Hello Jenn, Thank you for your valuable review. We recommend soaking the towels in cold water for a few hours or overnight and hang drying them. Natural cotton needs to be "broken in", which allows the fibers to bloom, be softer and reach maximum absorbency with better performance. This will also help remove the excess lint. Succeeding washes: Gentle cycle on your washing machine and dry at a low heat on the dryer. IMPORTANT: Avoid fabric softeners and dryer sheets as they gunk up the fibers making them less absorbent. “These are OUTSTANDING! I was a bit skeptical that these towels would be better, and I was SO HAPPY when I discovered they were! I wiped the towel down my arm right out of the shower and it was totally dry (and it was a humid day), so I am a total convert. I had also gotten some of the beach towels, and these bath towels are the perfect thickness for me. A little thicker than the beach and some of the bath, but MUCH thiner than regular bath towels. They take up way less space in my linen closet--the 4 towels folded are not even half as high as two regular towels. I hate throwing things away, so I won't do that with my old towels, but they might become dog towels, haha. These are just WAY TO AMAZING to use anything else.”
