“I haven’t even taken it to the beach yet, I live in the tropics and have found this to be the perfect weight cover up for snoozing on the couch. So soft and cozy, feels a bit heavier than the rest of their towels.”
“This blanket was beautiful until I washed it. I wash all new garments, bedding, etc before using and the lint from these blankets was unreal! Not just the sheer volume but lint balls sticking to the blankets and then coming off all over my clothes and furniture. I ordered four of these blankets and am so disappointed. The lint issues make them unusable.”
Hello Heidi,
We're very sorry to hear about the issue with your blanket.
We recommend soaking the blanket in cold water for a few hours or overnight and hang drying it. Natural cotton needs to be "broken in", which allows the fibers to bloom, be softer and reach maximum absorbency with better performance. This will also help remove the excess lint.
Succeeding washes: Gentle cycle on your washing machine and dry at a low heat on the dryer.
IMPORTANT: Avoid fabric softeners and dryer sheets as they gunk up the fibers making them less absorbent. And of course, avoid bleach!
Kindly try this remedy and please do let us know whether it's effective so that we can help you further.
Warm regards,
Cathy,
Sand Cloud.
