“The products provided by Saratoga Oil Company are superior. I use the varieties of oil and balsamic vinegar myself and am proud to give them as gifts. However, this review speaks to the superior quality of Saratoga Oils customer service. In early December I took advantage of a special offer and purchased four Gift Pairings as holiday gifts. I was dismayed to discover that somehow the package was delivered and received at an incorrect address and is apparently lost forever by FedEx. I notified Peter Koch of Saratoga Oil customer service who was not only sympathetic but also did what needed to be done to correct the problem. After a deadlock with FedEx, he sent another shipment to me as a priority. FedEx delayed that shipment by several days. (Yes, I do understand the enormous amount of packages FedEx handles this time of year.) I emailed Peter Koch again with my concern, and, again, he was right there to check it out and assure me it was on its way. The package arrived that very day I called Peter--safe and sound. The moral of this story is that providing an outstanding product is important. However, equally important is providing an outstanding customer support service and, in particular, an outstanding customer service representative like Peter Koch. Thank you.”
