“My wife and I had one of these pans that we'd used for years. When it came time for replacement, we first shopped at kitchen stores in the Seatlle area. We looked at several brands available in the stores, including Scanpan, but none measured up with our old one. The classic saute pan has a comfortable handle, which is safe to touch when cooking on top of the stove. Also, the second handle is very helpful due to the overall weight of the pan, and it's almost essential when removing the pan from the oven. We still have the lid from our old pan, but we're using the new one, as it's lighter in weight.”
