“Nice pots. My wife was complaining about the weight or her well known pots and pans. The cast iron pots were just too heavy. She is very happy with the Scanpans and we have now have a collection of them”

“I haven't had a chance to try this pan yet however, I have a CS+ 12" saute pan that we use almost daily. It is GREAT. I bought that saute pan to replace my Scanpan 2000 11" saute that started losing it's coating. Sad. Because now I reluctantly use it when I need another pan. Please know that I am thrilled with the new pan and I am sure to get excelent service from it as well.”

“We haven't been able to use our set, as we have had too many issues with the company that we are unsure if our order will ever be completed and we don't want to use anything in case we decide to return everything. It has been a month since I placed my order and we are still waiting for one pan to arrive. There have been issues with delivery and the company packing damaged pans. We were excited to get this set, but really disappointed at this point.”

“internal is fine but external only after a few days shows scorch marks cant imagine what it will look like after a month”

Stainless steel cookware can develop heat tint or scorch marks from high heat or mineral buildup, but this can often be removed with a stainless steel cleaner such as Bar Keepers Friend. “They did not last a year before the surface was scaling off. Customer service would not pay for shipping to return them. They replaced the entire set and within 2 months the surface was scaling again. They advised us not to continue to use them. upon further research this is not an unusual problem. The PTFE (Teflon) in the surface coating raises concerns for me that they will not address.”

Hi Deborah. Thank you for your feedback. SCANPAN stands behind the quality and safety of our products. Our nonstick cookware does not contain Teflon, however, like all nonstick cookware, it uses a PTFE based coating to provide its nonstick release. Our products are made without PFOA and PFOS and are safe for normal use. In your case our Customer Care team offered alternative options, and provided a prepaid return label as a one-time courtesy so our team could inspect the items. “We own 4 diffeent size Scanpans, the first one bought twenty years ago. The latest one has a different non-stick coating and it works perfectly. We've made omelets, hamburgers on the new one. Love our Scanpans.”

“I was a fan of Scanpan and had all models. When The Place products came online, I bought a whole product line. Soon I realized that I couldn't use them the way they advertised and it became a chore to have to clean using baking soda. That's when I decided to get a few Scan pan frying pans. I just loved the ease of use and cleaning. I got a big pan and also a paella pan as well. It turns out that now, I use those big pans, especially the paella pan like a wok. The baking pans are big and versatile and the grill and griddle pans do the job perfectly. Thank you for such a wonderful product line for us to use.”

“I'm not a professional chef, but when I pretend to be, my Scanpans make me look like one. All their characteristics... presentation, feel, even heating and non-stick performance elevated my cooking to a very pleasurable experience. “I have 6 Scanpans in various sizes and styles. They are my all time favorite pans. I appreciate the generouse cooking surface. Other pans are wide at the top with high sloped sides and very little cooking space. Scanpans are a real pleasure to use.”

“I have owned Scanpan products for over 25 years now. I just replaced a skillet after at least 20 years of use, the nonstick surface still working and intact. I got a slightly larger skillet, the 11 inch one this time in stainless steel because we are moving to an induction stove in our new home It has the improved nonstick surface and redesigned handle. It is working so well. The nonstick surface is even better than the old version from 20 years back. If I had one issue, it is the new handle. It is steel, riveted to the pan. After around ten minutes or so, the handle begins to get warmer closer to the pan riveted part. The old nonmetalic handle did not get warm ever. Apart from that one small issue, I am still quite happy with the pan and intend to get the lid for it at some point (some things we cook need this). I cannot recommend Scanpan enough to anyone who has not tried them. My original introduction was with the six inch pan I bought back in 1997 on sale for a ridiculously low price. It lasted forever, until I gave it away some ten or more years later. I have given my old skillet I just replaced to a friend because it is still going strong. That's how reliable and good Scanpan products are.”
