“Most nonstick pans scratch easily, and due to potentially harmful material that might be ingested, have to be replaced very often. The Scanpan, on the other hand, is tough and resists scratches. The heavy steel base makes it extremely even-heating and it retains hear better than aluminum.
Instead of buying several cheaper pans, we like having these, which we think will last for years. It's a pleasure to cook with them. More like cooking on stainless steel and better for browning.
