“The good - The coating in this pan is amazing. Absolutely non stick and durable. I’ve used it to pop popcorn often with no scratching or damage whatsoever. The bad - It’s very heavy, which wouldn’t be that much of a problem except, the metal handle has zero texture and the barest bit of water or oil makes it impossible to maneuver the pan to pour out the contents. It slips in your hand to the bottom heavy down position. The gasket around the lid also retains moisture not drying out completely. This is unnoticeable until you hear the pan with the lid on, say to make popcorn. Once the pan heated, a fair amount of water expands, falls out of the gasket and creates a huge amount of steam and adds almost a teaspoon of water to the pot. All that said, the cooking surface is so good, I’ll probably buy another pot from this set and get a silicon handle cover for it at the same time. It’s just a shame that a pot of this quality and cost has these basic design flaws.”
