“I own a few of the Scanpan CS+ pans. I thought I would purchase the 3 set to round out my collection. Sadly, the largest pan of the three had a defective coating. (The two smallerpans were perfect). I asked Customer service to replace the large pan, submitting photos of the pan. (to be fair, the photos were not definitive, but if they were studied carefully, you could see the finish on the large pan was much rougher that the other pan's finishes.)
The only option was to return the entire set for a refund. (This was successfulI). I would not recommend purchasing the CS+ series from the Scanpan web site, because the ScanPan customer support do not support the product.
I would like to purchase the three pan set, but I feel that the only was to do it is over the counter.”

The rougher texture is normal because the coating is individually sprayed onto each pan, so there can be slight variation from piece to piece. “The pans are great, we switched back from Hexclad due to the quality of these pans. The reason we went to Hexclad was the warranty process for ScanPan is horrible. We need to pay to ship them back and then wait for determination of warrantable claim. With Hexclad, we send a video, and they instantly reply and communicate with us. even on Sundays! they approve and send out the replacement right away and the old one goes into the recycle. Scanpan are by far the better pans, need to improve warranty process.”

“I had never heard of ScanPans before, but when my Zwilling Forte set of pans needed to be replaced and I couldn’t find that line any longer, I began my research. I’m so happy with the ScanPan CS+ set! I truly need no oil added to the pans for things like eggs to release effortlessly. The pans clean up with minimal effort and the brushed stainless exterior is an upgrade over my previous set. These are very well-made and I expect to get years of life from these! One great feature is that these pans actually brown unlike most non-stick pans. When cooking a burger or searing a steak, these pans do an outstanding job - as good as cast iron or stainless. The litmus test for how good a product is, in my book, is if I would purchase the item again after having had time to use it and the answer is an enthusiastic, resounding yes!”
“Love the pans so far. Non stick for real. Sear well with induction on medium high no warping. Use mostly for eggs and sauces. Use my cast iron mainly for searing. Well made and super easy to clean.”
