“I love the look of the f40, the feel of it while riding, the three ride modes, the ground clearance and just how quiet it is.
You can’t trust the promoted, “up to 40klm distance, nor can you trust the “20 degree incline,” this date is probably obtained from a feather weight riding a test model on a perfectly flat surface using eco mode. Steep inclines can only be achieved with a run up at the max speed in D or sports mode for a short distance.
I’m 90kg and it sure does not perform as promoted, but in saying that I love my scooter but am still disappointed by its performance.”

“The adddition of 2 x segway Ninebot F40A has definitely been an advantage for our family of 4, With the cost of running a car, fuel prices, Ware & tare on vehicles going up our kids can get themselves to & from school, safely alone footpaths, Sports & ride to shops when needed. Us parents also use them when we need to take shirt trips to shop & to check in on family we see these as an investment as it's already cutting the cost of running 2 six cylinder vehicles.We will be purchasing 2 bigger scooters for ourselves in the near future & with no carbon emmissions is a bonus”

“The sale staff at Scooter Hut were fantastic and helped me choose the most appropriate scooter for my use. I’ve found the Segway ninebot f40 to be ideal, it’s entry level but I’m 72yrs and sure don’t need anything more powerful, it’s perfect.
What I’ve noticed most is how the scooter glides, accelerates so smoothly and find the deck plenty big enough and comfortable.
I’m not a fan of having to use the app but hey, I didn’t buy the thing for its tech, just the ride, and it’s perfect for me.”
“Good smooth ride but struggles a fair bit uphills. The battery isn’t the best, maybe 25km from a charge… will look at getting an additional battery for work journeys”
